Chettinad Adai Paruppu Adai Dosa Recipe

This is my favorite Chettinad adai recipe Tamil authentic Recipe prepration method. You might have been tried many Tamil traditional recipes at your kitchen for its unique taste but today I am going to share my kitchen special and nutritive dish chettinad adai dosa recipe which I have learned from my neighbor solai ammal aachi who is the king of all chettinad dish cooking.   

Ingredients for Chettinad Paruppu Adai
Raw rice – 1 cup
Boiled rice – 1 cup
Onion 1 cup
Kadalai paruppu (channa dal)
Green gram – 1 cup
Sambar toor dal 1 cup
Urad dal – 1 cup
Cumin seed – ¼ cup
Sago - 1/4 cup
Ginger - 1 piece
Garlic - 4 clove
Aniseed – 1/4tsp
Red Chillies - 5
Coriander little
Curry Tree -  little
 Greeted Coconut – 1 cup
Salt and oil as per taste

How to prepare Tamil Chettinad Adai Recipe

  • Soak the rice verities in a vessel for about four hours,
  • In another vessel soak all types dal varsities separately,
  • Soak the sago separately for about six hours,
  • Chop onion, coriander, and curry leaves and keep it aside  
  • Now grind the soaked ingredients together,
  • When it is in half stage add the ginger, garlic, cumin, aniseed, red chillies
  • Add salt and grind in dosa consistency,
  •  Finally add the coconut and chopped ingredients with the adai flour and mix nicely,
  •  Now prepare chettinad adai recipe and taste with coconut chutney or tomato chutney.
